Food is important, I'm 14 and whenever I am sick my levels go CRAZY! So much we have to ring the doctor's like 4 times a day, and then I will go to hospital. Different people have different reactions to illlness however. I had this situation once, where my keytones were high, and blood levels were low and that was because I wasn;t eating or having my injections, so make sure you are doing both.
