I went through the same thing when I was first diagnosed with type 2 diabetes a couple of years ago. I nearly lost my appetite completely and I'd get nauseous trying to finish something like a bowl of corn flakes! My taste for foods seemed to just vanish and I didn't enjoy anything for a while, even my favorite foods (which I could no longer eat anyway)... It lasted a little over six months in my case and then everything went back to normal. It wasn't fun, but it did eventually get better, so hang in there and good luck!
