All of the symptoms listed seem to be correct. However Drmike is incorrect when describing the types of diabetes. Type 1 diabetes is not low insulin levels, it is NO insulin levels. In Type 1 diabetes the pancreas stops producing insulin, so there is no insulin in the body after a year or so of this production stopping. Type 2 diabetes is either low amount of insulin or improperly absorbed insulin. As a type 1 diabetic i wanted to clear that up.

Dr.mike...Im glad you clarified your answer. if you re-read what you had posted you only put low amounts of insulin as type 1. I am a type 1 diabetic and have no isulin other than what i use via pump. so i wanted to make it clear that it is a lack of or no insulin in a type 1. thank you.
