um yes if you have the Acanthosis Nigricans you are more and likely already a diabetic. you need to cut down on all the sugar you eat that means no more junk food!!! i just found out today i was a diabetic. but yester day i went to the after hours clinic and the doctor told me i was and then said something about the Acanthosis Nigircans and i broke dow n and cried.because my aunt died from diabetes. and well i didnt want to. but if you catch it in time and lose weight and do as you are told by your doctor then they can give you pills if your not fullblowin with diabetes that will help you. but go see your doctor and talk to them about it ok, and i wish you the best of luck i will pray that you arent diabetic and that you start exersising.
