Mine will drop on occasion due to an anti sezure med I have to take. I eat around two spoonfulls of peanut butter,or drink some good quality OJ(the only ingreadents are orange juice and water), or I eat some nuts(I'm partial to whole sunflower seeds), and for true emergencies when I cannot get to any food I have these glucose tabs that I can eat whenever where ever to raise my sugar long enough for me to get to a good food source.

Almost any kind of protien and or natural sugar will do the trick. Things like orange juice and peanut butter tend to hit your blood stream quicker for some reason I don't know and take away that nasty sick sweaty feeling you get faster than many other foods. Those glucose tablets do the same..hit you within minutes but they should be the last option...if foods don't do the trick or you can't get to them. You can buy them at almost any phamacy and supercenter over the counter. They can be a real life saver in a long car ride and such.
