Sounds like you need a complete lifestyle change. (no, I'm not talking about your gay lifestyle). I'm talking about your daily TV watching and love for food.

You've got a big decision to make. You're already on that slow, miserable slippery slope. You are going to have a horrible time if you don't completely overhaul your diet and exercise routine. Insulin does not make you gain weight. If you think that ingesting something from a Lizard is going to make you lose weight... well, I'm going to remain quiet on that issue.

Losing weight is as simple as it gets. Your body burns about 2000 calories a day doing nothing in particular. You need to burn about 3500 calories to lose a pound. You can burn about 300 to 400 calories walking briskly for about an hour. Am I making sense yet? If you keep your calorie intake at about 1500 per day, walk briskly for about an hour, or so, a day, you will lose close to two pounds a week. This is not rocket science... I've done it.

Addendum: As long as you keep looking into the convoluted depths of complexity and ignore the simplistic beauty of the obvious, you're doomed to fail. Like I said... losing weight is as simple as it gets. Reading articles that support your warped sense of reality will get you nowhere. Excess body weight does not come from insulin, it comes from too much food and lack of exercise. How do I know this? BTDT. If you want to lose it, you're going to have to take less in and put more out.... simple. You can buy all those quick weight loss gizmos you want.... or you can listen to someone who's been there. You'll learn the truth one way or the other.
