First of all let me state that I am a diabetic (type two). Now let me tell you one of the first symptoms.A constant thirst and dryness of the mouth. In answer to your question, you cannot drink fruit juice because it has fructose which is not as bad as refined sugar because it does not remain in your system as long, but never the less, you should not drink it.Milk is also a no no because of the milk sugar (Lactose). You may eat a small amount of fresh fruit.but never eat dried fruit! You should also limit your intake of starches. The best way to help keep your blood sugar under control is exercise and weight loss. The large fat cell (especially around the mid section) slows down the body's ability to utilize insulin. The main cause of type two diabetes is the body's inability ability to utilize the insulin produced by the pancreas.Insulin dependent diabetes is when the pancreas does not produce enough insulin.Just remember if you are diabetic,No sugars of any kind, and plenty exercise, and a limited amount of starches. If you suspect that you are diabetic, have your doctor do a blood test.If diabetes runs in the family you have a good chance of having it.
