Eating fruit with diabetes?
"Eating fruit with diabetes?" just in "Diabetic diet"colum,Some of the information network reference literature.

Well you can eat fruit but you'll need to regulate your BG correctly so as to not spike yourself too much or for too long.
This is actually a little easier as a T1 because you can (depending on the insulin you are given) just take enough to counteract the BG spike and you are good to go.
Many T2's have it a little harder with fruit as most do not take insulin and so need to watch their diet even more as they don't have anything to boost their insulin sensitivity over and above their prescribed drugs.
