How can you treat diabetes Type 2?
---------------------------------------------------
This is too big a question to be answered in this space because it does not address any individual concerns or problems that you may have.
The first thing is to treat it seriously. I have seen too many people deny the disease and wind up with problems like loss of eyesight (and job when it involves driving), amputations and dialysis. With type 3 diabetes (brittle diabetes) the insulin levels are wonky because the pancreas will start to work for no apparent reason and blood sugar levels do very weird things. These people are far more prone to complications than the rest of the population.
In general, it involves weight loss and eating a healthy diet. Exercise is a key component as well. Drugs may be involved as well.
If you want more information, read the book "Diabesity" by Dr. Kaufmann or go to the diabetes assocation web site.
