Hi there. The worst part of the examination is when they put in the eye drops. They sting like mad and they make me feel sick (hopefully you wont have that problem). This opens the aperture in your eye so that they can see behind it. There is no pain or problem with the actual exam. Please DON'T drive there. Your vision will be affected for a few hours afterwards, and this may sound daft, but using a pair of sunglasses afterwards helps because your eyes are sensitive to the light.
