I am type-2 diabetes but underweight, want gain weight?
---------------------------------------------------
I wish I understood metrics to know if you are actually under-
weight. But as a Type 2, I am very overweight, so I have just
the opposite problem. I've only heard of Type 1, attributed to
thin people. Are you sure, you're a Type 2?
You need a referral from your primary doctor to see a nut-
rionist or dietician, or someone who can advise you on a proper diet for your diabetes. You can't risk eating the fattening foods, that will drive up your blood sugar levels. So you need an expert to give you assistance. She can help you with food choices that maybe you could have that some of aren't allowed. I've read that no two diabetics are the same. So I'm inclined to believe that from other people who have good sugar levels and eat alot of peanut butter and jelly, being diabetic. I guess it's all in the amount one eats :).
See a an educator in nutrition and they can put you on the
right path.
Good luck!
