I have type 2 diabetes, what is acl ?
---------------------------------------------------
Hi I am Chris, are you sure you do not mean the A1C test? Because the ACL is for a torn ligament. an A1C test is to check a diabetics blood sugar over a 3 month period of time. it takes the persons average. Not just what you see on your daily monitor everytime you take it. I also tend towards Type 2 diabetes, because I have Lupus, and depending on the medications I am on, I can become Insulin dependant, and when I am on certain medications and on them long term. they do the A1C test, to see what my blood sugar average is over a three month period. I have also seen recently the A1C tests available in some drug stores over the counter.
But like I mentioned before ACL has to do with a torn ligament and nothing to do with diabetes, it has more to do with injury. So I hope this cleared things up for you.
Good luck
Chris
