My brother was diagnosed with diabetes when he was just 18 months old. He is 22 now and a personal trainer ... but even though he has lived with diabetes his WHOLE life, he still sometimes feels the way you do. It can be a combination of many things: shock over your new condition, fluctuating blood sugars, stress ... I would check with your endocrinologist (my brother calls them his diabetic doctors), just to make sure you are on the right medication and taking it in the right amounts ... you may have to change your diet ... exercise more/less or differently ... You should go out and just walk around the block, get some sun on your face and breathe fresh air (diabetic or not, sitting by yourself in a dark house is not the best way to cheer yourself up).
